Honza Zapletal lives in the Czech Republic, in Ostrava. He’s 17 years old and a huge fan of the McLaren-Honda team in Formula 1, especially Fernando Alonso, who is his favourite driver.
Even though the 17-year-old‘s first name is officially "Jan", he prefers to be called „Honza“, he’s actually never been called „Jan“ in his entire life. it’s because in Czech Republic people named „Jan“ are basically called „Honza“.
In terms of a game performance, it has to be said that he hasn’t been active for quite a long time. But if he’s with us, the young Czech’s very often right up there. At the times the results didn’t count this guy was able to secure few wins and pole positions. He’s been bloody quick in qualifyings, but even though one of his huge drawbacks is a concistency which he sometimes misses little bit. It seems like he’s not really comfortable with handling the drive under pressure.
The young Czech competes only in P1 Amateur Cup, which he’s pretty good at. He definitely should be one of the title contenders in the 2017 P1 Amateur Cup, which starts with a first race at Raceroom Raceway on 11th of January. Make sure you don’t miss it.
